The self-study program includes a textbook and a three-ring binder study guide (in English). The mentor-guided program assigns a qualified mentor to grade assignments. The International Pentecostal Press Association will issue a certificate to each participant upon completion of the mentor-guided course. Mentoring is limited to 20 participants per year. The scholarship program is available to qualified persons and is based on need.

The 11-month post-graduate diploma program is open to university graduates from all streams as well as working journalists seeking to upgrade their skills. Some scholarship assistance is available. The school is at D-59, Sector 2, a short walk from the Metro Blue Line.
IMII is a joint project of ICFJ and the Society of Policy Studies, a Delhi think tank. It is affiliated with the City University of New York's Graduate School of Journalism with start-up funding from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is offering a six-week online course that seeks to bring together American and European journalists along with journalists from majority-Muslim countries to critically examine religion coverage around the world. Deadline to apply: May 21.
The course will be held in English and Arabic, with translation. It will run from June 11 to July 23, and it will be followed by a mentoring period when instructors will work closely with participants as they report on religion stories. Participants will be encouraged to work on a story with another participant from a different cultural/religious background. The participants who create the best joint reporting project in the course will receive an award in a ceremony in New York City.

To participate, journalists should have a basic knowledge of the Internet, such as how to navigate the World Wide Web and use e-mail. There will be periodic evaluations and a final project. Participants will also receive a certificate following the successful completion of the course.
After registering, participants will receive a user name and password to access the online classroom where class materials and practical exercises will be posted each week. Students will also have the ability to speak with the professor and other students using an online "chat."
